A coastal fishing trip needs more than a low advertised RV rate. Match your fishing access, equipment, weather plans and campsite to your actual dates. Magnolia Beach RV Park is at 352 Margie Tewmey Rd, Port Lavaca, TX 77979; it is a nearby lodging option, not a booking for a public beach, pier, marina or fishing event.
Research Magnolia Beach, Indianola and the Port Lavaca area for the kind of outing you want: shore fishing, a public pier, crabbing, a boat launch or a guided trip. Confirm the exact access point with its operator or public authority. Check whether it is open, where parking is allowed, applicable charges, hours, vessel or trailer limits and any reservation requirements.
Do not assume a pier is open all night, a marina has bait or launch service at first light, rentals are available or access is free. A place name in an older article does not establish a current service. Map the actual route and vehicle approach rather than rely on a guaranteed short drive or bike ride.
Before fishing or crabbing, review the current Texas Parks and Wildlife Outdoor Annual for licenses, methods, species restrictions, size and possession limits and relevant advisories. Requirements depend on the activity and water; do not treat an RV reservation as fishing permission.
Review National Weather Service Corpus Christi marine forecasts and local notices. Decide whether the wind, visibility, tide, water conditions, equipment and experience fit the outing. Keep an alternative day plan and follow official alerts. This guide does not promise calm water, catches, uncrowded access or safe conditions for every guest.
Use arrival day to confirm the assigned site, access instructions and equipment storage. Pick one primary fishing outing and one alternative for each available day. Allow time for shopping, travel, setup and cleaning, and confirm the park’s rules for handling fish, bait, equipment and waste before using the site for those tasks.
For a tournament or community celebration, obtain the current organizer’s dates, entry requirements, launch location and cancellation information before committing. The June and July 2026 events previously promoted in this article are past dates, not upcoming events. Check a new calendar rather than assume an annual event repeats on the same date.
Provide the rig’s length, slides, power needs, vehicles, boat or equipment trailer and pets. Ask management to confirm site dimensions, maneuvering room, parking, hookups and any services important to the stay. A concrete or gravel pad description does not establish compatibility with every RV or trailer.
The previously published limit is a maximum of two pets per reservation. RVs 10 years or older require exterior photo approval before booking. Confirm additional pet rules, charges or restrictions and keep animals under effective control; an unfenced open area is not permission to let pets roam.
Confirm arrival hours, contactless access instructions, quiet rules, maintenance reporting and after-hours support. Contactless management does not guarantee unrestricted arrival or service on any schedule. Surveillance, a Wi-Fi description or a quiet-hours rule is not a guarantee of security, internet performance or silence.
Request current pricing for the exact dates and assigned site. Confirm electricity, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, trash, taxes, required fees and separately billed items. Full-hookup connections do not prove every utility charge is included. Compare equivalent written offers, including travel, equipment and storage, without assuming the park is always the cheapest.

A $75 deposit is required for every monthly reservation. Its refund requires a written request within three days of departure, an attached photo showing the site left clean and management approval. Confirm the correct park email; a refund is not automatic.
Submit cancellations in writing by email to the park. Cancellations at least 14 days before scheduled arrival qualify for a full rent refund; cancellations less than 14 days before arrival and no-shows do not. No-shows forfeit rent paid. Guests may request rescheduling, but it is not guaranteed.
Once a stay begins, all lot rent is non-refundable, including early departure or shortening a stay. Refunds are issued to the original payment card, not by check. Confirm renewal and extension terms in writing rather than assume a longer assignment or fishing season secures extra nights.
Before relying on a free beach-camping listing, verify current county rules, designated areas, fees, access and facilities. A public beach stay is separate from a private park reservation; neither guarantees the other. Do not discharge wastewater or assume hookups or unrestricted overnight parking at a public access point.
Stand-alone dump-station visits are not offered by Magnolia Beach RV Park. Contact management about current services and availability for a reserved overnight stay. Do not arrive expecting a day-use tank service, water refill or charging arrangement without a confirmed reservation and approval.
